Subclass 491 - Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa

 

The Subclass 491 Visa is a Skilled Visa issued by a State or Territory Government for applicants who wish to live and work in regional areas of Australia.

Conditions:

  • Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to receive an invitation for nomination from an Australian State or Territory Government.
  • Be nominated by an Australian State/Territory Government or be sponsored by an eligible relative living in Australia.
  • Have a successful skills assessment for an occupation listed on the relevant skilled occupation list prescribed by the Government.
  • Score at least 65 points on the Immigration points test.
  • Meet the English language proficiency requirements.
